    Bike Push!

    December 29, 2013

What an increidble turn-out! Scores of locals gatherd in Blue Anchor on the 29th December 2013 to show their support for the Steam Coast Trail. The weather was fantastic, the people were supportive, and the trains were blowing off steam. What more could you ask for?!

On a serious note, the stretch of the A39 between the end of the existing bike path at Carhampton to Washford Cross is statistically one of the most dangerous roads for motorists. Needless to say, cycling along here is not at all pleasant for the best cyclists among us, let alone children. Alternative routes offered by the Steam Coast Trail will offer safe and environmentally sustainable travel for all ages.
